| The developers have put in another application to do exactly the same thing - without any of the concessions. Presumably it will get turned down after a lot of work by all concerned. then it too will go to appeal. this can happen as often as the developer chooses - without him having to contribute to the cost to the public purse (he can of course - and is - paying large sums to a "planning consultant" to help this through - but that pays none of our, the taxpayers' costs) And he just keeps going till the opposition is exhausted or the appeals guys grant the application. No way to run a supposedly democratic and accountable process. |
