| Apologies for the intrusion. I have just joined the site and have read about the proposed demolition in your road which many of you are objecting to. Even though I do not live in the Road, I support you. I have a lot of experience in this as there has been an application to demolition a perfectly good Edwardian Property in Perryn Road. W.3. No proper procedures were followed as is the case which many of you have raised. We insisted on a site visit but were told that the planning committee do not have to enter properties that may be directly affected. Just drive past. We refused to take no for an answer. It worked wonders. I went through all the Council policy documents and thereafter attended the public hearing before the committee. It was very hard work but it paid off. We won. The developer has appealed the committee decision to refuse his application. For information.. "If a road is in a conservation area, you will not be prevented from building a loft" I am more than happy to help on this |
