i think they are retaining the trees where they can..from what ive seen. though the council pollard them to the brink of death every year !

i think on reflection 9 storeys is too high in that position.

Its a real shame they arent developing the shops, alot of people who may be attracted to the new development will see them and think, hmm this area is run down. i know i did when i first looked round.
