| Peter I don't know anything about this proposal but it sounds horrendous. From experience of being on the planning committee and objecting to applications I suggest that, if you have not already done so, you: 1.email your objections to all members of the planning committee (the list of planning committee members is published with the meeting agenda on the Council's website, 7 days before the meeting) - the sooner they hear your objections the better. 2. email your ward councillors (South Acton in this case) and ask that one of them speak at the planning committee. Councillors are not restricted to 3 minutes speaking time. 3. organise a protest when committee members visit the site (which will be the Saturday morning before their meeting - timetable comes out with meeting agenda), so they know that residents don't want it.
