| Yes I know it was only a bit of television staging but I was amused to hear Toby Young say that '25 years ago....Poets Corner was the wrong side of the tracks' I think the families I knew who lived there then would have been a bit upset. Does anyone else remember how the area was thought of then? He also suggested that the name 'Poets corner' was an estate agents invention, obviously has not noticed the road names.......Now Brackenbury Village, that is an invention! |
