| I think he was referring to Acton as being the wrong side of the tracks & they-rather naffly- showed him going over tracks via the bridge, just to emphasize the point. The fact that those who live in Acton would recognize the location is irrelevant, surely? His later reference to Waitrose seemed to be his way of implying that times had changed. (Though presumably as the first Waitrose was in Acton, they were there when it was the wrong side of the tracks,) |
