| Wondering now whether Morrisons might end up as the anchor tenant at The Oaks after all the b/s from the Council about Waitrose etc. Or indeed whether this was the plan all along. That would be a win for Morrisons, who could maintain their monopoly on the High St, and a win for the Council with a huge prime site for more development, if the car park and post office building are included. The developer's website says M&S, Lidl and Wilco have signed leases, but I no longer believe anything the Council or their chosen developer chums say about anything. |
