| Spotted in a brochure by Jo Brianti ... and now I've found a reference to it on-line. From November 2017! "Morrisons site: A key opportunity site on King Street, it acts as an 'entrance' into Acton High Street from Ealing Common on the Uxbridge Road. The 1.3-ha site offers great potential as a mixed-use development site for retail and residential. There is also the possibility of including the adjacent post office and improving the access to the town square" http://sitematchlondon.com/news/8450/Meet-the-council-Ealing-Council Seems odd given a recent comment here that Morrisons is planning significant development work - perhaps site lease was getting close to renewal and promoting a possible sale was part of negotiating tactics or maybe it really is up for sale. |
