The latest film to woo the 'grey pound' with tales of babyboomers behaving badly as two estranged sisters reconnect after the stuck-up one's marriage implodes and she ends up moving in with hippy sister in her council flat near Hampstead Heath.

It's often laugh-out-loud funny and the scenes where Tim Spall's character visits his wife in her Home to be met by violent denials that she knows him are heartbreaking. But, and it's a big but, the plot is almost staggeringly predictable. Trust me: whatever you think is going to happen happens.

Celia Imrie and Imelda Staunton are superb as the chalk-and-cheese sisters. Mind you, Imrie read a short story of mine out on Woman's Hour in the mid-90s and obviously her career has been downhill all the way from that high point.
