| This is from the councils website - not quite what Bassam was saying is it? Q: What if a property is not suitable for a wheelie bin? A: Those properties where a wheelie bin is not suitable will still be able to subscribe to the scheme and will receive 25 biodegradable sacks for a subscription fee of £20, or 50 biodegradable sacks for a subscription fee of £40. Q: How will it be decided if a property is suited to wheelie bins or sacks? A: Sacks will only be available to households where a wheelie bin is not operationally suitable. A council officer will visit the property(s) to assess whether they are deemed not suitable for a wheeled container. |
