| We should be more self-sufficient and rely less on the state. We should have joined the other London boroughs with compulsory recycling unfortunately nobody - government or council dare in case they lose votes. That would have taken us forward. Some Councils provide nets and lids for recycling boxes. The Council could subsidise these or at least say where they could be bought. We should be more responsible than we are for our own waste. Why aren't people using the services the Council provide? It costs us all money that they don't. We can help to make sure that they have the info and kit or know how to get it. |
