| The cost of electric cars has decreased now that there are more of them. They were more expensive originally and so that is why there were grants. Grants do come and go. There have been grants for chargers and feed-in tariffs for electricity from photovoltaics etc. The grants for green homes have proved to be a bit of a problem and they have been altered by Govt: https://www.propertyreporter.co.uk/landlords/changes-to-green-homes-grants-welcomed-by-landlords.html Many schools are having photovoltaics fitted so as to reduce their energy use. https://ealingtransition.org.uk/2016/09/14/schools-solar-project/ |
