It would be helpful if perhaps the Police could be proactive (without wanting to alarm residents) in informing us of such incidents shortly after they happen.
As it could be that others may be able to help as 'witnesses' therefore aiding any possible prosecutions.  Thus reducing this anti-social activity - and possibly discouraging any future occurrences.
