Definitely stay in brightly lit areas, and, where possible, somewhere where there are people around.
After work the other night a man followed me home and tried to get me into his car. He persistantly followed me and kept stopping to get me to go with him. It gave me a fright and, although I made it home safe, I was a little worried about going into my house because I didn't want him to know where I lived.
He had a red Ford Ka but that is all I know about him, it was dark and I was too worried about legging it!
