| That's what I was thinking, perhaps as I have been programmed to think women are the weaker sex bs, but whether it's bs or not, I would think a call to the feds when it was happening may have been a wise option, of course when things like that happen, we don't always follow our common sense or advise as you may be living more in the instant/now, rather than thinking retrospectively about it. Even then the police say on all the programs on TV to report it even if nothing happened, and this is where the public relations between the police and the public often break down as the reality is that the police, don't always take calls like this seriously (many years ago when I had girlfriend, she got a black cab home, as she got home she told me that the cab driver had asked her if he could have a kiss, it could have been Warboys) anyway she phoned the police, who said did you get his cab number? No she replied, "well there's nothing we can do" phone down. Most people think a black cab is safer than a mini cab, but that killer John Warboys actually learned "the knowledge" so he could fulfill his perverted fantasies, who knows how many he got away with, he probably doesn't even remember. Rant over. and I didn't mean to derail the thread. |
