| I think it is volume of traffic that increases the danger for anyone that uses the junction. I'm first to admit that its surprising no-one has been injured there with or without lights. the slope adds to the danger, I've noticed people swing right too fast from GL into BL, and I'm sure thats because of the slope. any traffic calming measures that can be installed should be. the important thing is that the traffic KEEPS MOVING, and if it stops for whatever reason it is intermittent rather than prolonged. |
