| having lived on mill hill for 10 years I have used this junction more times that I care to think about, both as a pedestrian and a motorist. the introduction of traffic lights there triggered more than five years of misery for anyone using the junction, approaching from any direction. the time spent waiting in traffic queues as a result of the idiotic decision to install lights is time I will never get back. the mini roundabout is something I have advocated for many years, and finally we have it, making an impossibly busy road just about bearable. anyone who thinks that restoring traffic lights there is a good idea needs their heads examined. |
