| Any 'joint' venture has a responsibility on all parties to ensure it works well. Obviously it is not working well on the Mount. 'Not my job' eh!. That perhaps is what is wrong with the management (by all parties) of this area. Surely they should all meet up once a month to iron out any difficulties? That is Action (or non-action in this case) Acton, Ealing Council (waste management, licensing, highways-for paving/street furniture/lighting), the PSCO's (drunks), the Church (problems with their boundaries) and the Manager of Morrisons (what's he putting in to it to make it work?). (and someone from Social Services to get to grips with the anti-socials) Someone needs to get to grips with this - and I would suggest that local Councillors are the people who have the power to ensure that our Council Taxes are used properly in this area - are the people to do this. I note that our new Labour Councillors are extremely silent on such matters. |
