Are you two both bots or something? https://www.cibsejournal.com/news/privatisation-eroded-building-control-rigour-inquiry-told/ You didn't read the article - you should do. You can't have listened to much of the Grenfell Inquiry either. The Conservatives wanted to make it easier for Developers to build (not in itself such a bad thing) so they cut the regulations, privatised Building Control and the BRE. This unfortunately has not gone as well as it might as in some cases it can allow relationships to become too close and can be subject to different pressures. Who knows exactly what happened here - I certainly don't - although for you to actually change your narrative would be shocking in itself. You should really find out more. What happened with the Grenfell fire was terrible and something that should never have happened - or be repeated. I just know that changing consultants and construction companies and workers can all be problematical and a lot of buildings have now been found to need changes and remedial works made to them following post Grenfell checks and regulation tightening and changes. There is after all a tall tower in Ealing that has been underwraps (literally) for years as work has been slowly happening on it. Perhaps it is so big you never noticed it? https://www.insidehousing.co.uk/news/london-building-control-officers-call-for-post-grenfell-renationalisation-56095 Why don't you find out more by reading the Grenfell Inquiry? |
