| There was a petition started last summer that got hundreds of signatures from people who are being impacted by stress on parking in the area immediately surrounding Acton Mainline station. In addition, many letters of complaint have been sent to councillors requesting the CPZ consultation. Part of the issue is that zone MM is huge and goes from east of AML station to west of the Japanese school, so varies greatly in terms of usage. I can assure you first hand that on the streets next to the station and next to the monstrous Friary Park new development, parking is an absolute nightmare 7 days a week and something urgently needs to be done. It should have been done in anticipation of the opening of the Elizabeth line IMHO. |
