Let us remind ourselves of the results of the consultation: 'Regeneration of Acton Town Hall and new community facilities Ealing Council wanted Acton residents to have a say on the regeneration of their town hall and new community facilities as part of a broader plan to renew and revitalise the Acton Town Centre. Residents were hand delivered a consultation questionnaire between 7 and 26 June 2009. The key findings of the 754 respondents show that Four fifths (82%) would be more likely to use the proposed new leisure and community facilities at Acton Town Hall as opposed to South Acton Estate North (6%) Four fifths (83%) would find Acton Town Hall easier to visit than South Acton Estate North (5%) The top 3 priorities that need to be taken into consideration when taking the proposals forward were: Accessibility by public transport (61%), proximity to Acton High Street (56%) and Heritage issues (48%).
