| Meeting on Friday October 2nd The campaign to save Acton Baths continues. Please attend our next meeting on: Friday 2 October in the Dance Studio at Acton Baths at 7.30pm. We shall be discussing our aims and strategy to save Acton Baths. What we want is for the Baths to stay as they are and where they are, but for them to be fully renovated and upgraded. If that proves impossible, we would be willing to accept a 50-metre and 25-metre pools complex in place of the existing Baths. What we do not want is merely a single 25-metre pool with a much smaller training pool alongside it. Come along and make you voice heard. If Acton Baths closes one day soon and nothing takes its place, do not complain if you have done nothing. September 25, 2009 |
