| A confirmatory vote wouldn’t work like that. The public would be given a simple choice of Remain vs A Brexit Already Agreed by parliament. If the latter is chosen it becomes law with immediate effect. No delays. Caroline Lucas confirmed this methodology on Channel 4 News tonight. It is an entirely fair and democratic process, where the “will of the people” is binding and I repeat, immediate. |
