| My understanding is that a large proportion of MPs who are totally supportive of the Second Referendum are waiting for the Kyle Wilson amendment to be tabled. This states that support would be given to Theresa May's deal if it was put to a referendum along with the option of remaining. Don't know if that was Rupa Huq's reason but it certainly was for many MPs and is the recommendation of the People's Vote campaign. In a rational world the Kyle/Wilson amendment would be seen to be the obvious thing to do and would be totally uncontentious. |
