so if total of 2a & 2b exceeds the Remain number, which Brexit do you go for then? The problem isn't solved. I believe there should be two options: 1) Remain 2) Adopt a deal that has been previously ratified / signed off by parliament. Obvs there's a way to go on this one, as the last 2+ years have demonstrated. Ultimately, whatever parliament agrees is the best brexit deal is what should go back to the people as a confirmatory vote, and if parliament proclaims that option 2 should be "no deal", then so be it. |
