To put a bit of balance into the discussion that 'the police are never around'. There have been nine arrests by the East Acton Safer Neighbourhood Team officers in recent days. Crimes ranging from the windscreen washers - maybe a minor crime, but one that is potentially dangerous and cause of genuine anger - through to dealing drugs and possession of stolen goods.
The Team are also going through a process to meet every resident in the Ward by getting to every house to tell you how to get hold of them - leaving you a fridge magnet for future reference - and to get your feed-back on your concerns.
But why not come and hear what the Borough Commander has to say about deployment of resources and put your questions to him? Ealing Community & Police Consultative Group public meeting - open to all - this coming Thursday,May 28, 7:45pm at Ealing Town Hall.
I hope to see you there.
