It's not just Shaa / Perryn Road where this is a problem. If you spend any time on Acton High street around McDonalds you'll see drug dealers operating pretty brazenly. Seemingly, the police either don't see this, or can't be bothered to do anything about it. If you spend longer watching the same individuals, you'll see them coming and going in their expensive 4WD cars and parking illegally. The police now have powers to seize assets where they believe they make be have been purchased with the proceeds of crime - they can require owners to prove that they obtained them with legitimate sources of declared income but again, the police seemingly don't seem to be bothered. Perhaps I'm being unfair as I'm sure there are officers who are very committed and hard working; but in the main I find it increasingly hard to believe that the police as an organisation are that bothered about doing anything other than spending as much time as possible inside Acton police station or tearing round on blues & twos. To say the police need a kick up the proverbial would be something of an understatement.
