| And what if you called 999.......would you get an arrest? I called 999 when I saw 2 men climbing a wall and hanging on to a tree down that alleyway......the Police were there in around 3 to 4 mins, but, unfortunately or fortunately, the chaps were trying to do a bit of gardening and where hacking back a large tree, but they couldn't get a grip on it from their garden......so they went into the alleyway. Opps! However, it proves the Police to react to a suspected crime in process. My family police memebers have said to call 999 in a drugs related situation like you describe as it's an arrestable offence. |
