| The first single I bought was in 1977, London Girls by The Vibrators (bit of an old punk you see) and I still enjoy listening to their tracks. Little did I know the entertainment value this would give me a number of years on when I tell the children, in front of their mother, to put the vibrators on, childish I know but priceless none the less. The first album I bought was The Clash by The Clash in the same year. All albums and singles sadly sold off a number of years ago to friends, collectors and Notting Hill Record and Tape Exchange due to an attempt to join the 20th century and have spent an age replacing my favourite stuff with CD’s since. Although I have to admit a lot of the music I bought in those days was dross really. |
