| We had a house full of a bizarre selection of records inherited from relatives and gleaned from jumble sales. But the first I ever bought with my own money was an album by the Spinners. (Can't remember the title but still have nightmares about the bright yellow jumpers.) All together now: "When I first came to this land, I was not a wealthy man..." Yes, I was the very definition of uncool as a teenager. |
