| The headline in the Ealing Leader today is that 64 council jobs are to be slashed as part of a drive to make 7.4 million in savings. Meanwhile the council is GIVING AWAY £6.1 million in council tax rebate which we were told they "didn't need". (Presumably this comes as cold comfort for the people about to be made unemployed) .... you couldn't make it up. |
