| The use of minors to deal drugs in this area is not a new thing. Over a decade ago I was involved at the edges of a case of a boy with learning difficulties who was adopted by a gang of drug dealers. They bought him a play station and told him what a great person he was until he believed they were his friends. He then was told to go and sell drugs. It took over a year of constant effort by his family, his teachers and members of a local club he had joined but eventually he was extracted from the life and went back to school. I would hope that the involvement of minors in dealing puts this issue to the top of the list for the local police and that they are already on the case collecting evidence before acting. That's what happened a few years ago when there were issues at Twyford Crescent. However, it is worth persevering. The person in charge of neighbourhood policing in the borough is Sean Lynch. Unfortunately his email does seem to have been published but it would be worth trying sean.lynch@met.police.uk. If you use Twitter, the @ealingmps account specifically says you shouldn't use them to report a crime. In which case, you could report difficulties reaching the non-emergency phone number and, while you were at it, mention the situation in Springfield Park. Good luck. |
