Yes, I agree trying to contact the police is very frustrating.  It is even frustrating going to the Police Station.  However as you say Councillors do sometimes read forums.  However if you contact your Councillors directly by email you are far more likely to get a response. (Some are better than others and it depends what other problems they may be trying to solve for residents.) You will be able to find your Councillors' names and addresses on the www.ealing.gov.uk website. We can't do that for you as we don't know which ward you live in or the ward which you are complaining this is a problem for.  You should also be able to find out from the Ealing.gov website which Councillors have which portfolios within the Council. You could also see if you can get a response from the Safer Neighbourhood Team: https://www.ealing.gov.uk/info/201149/crime_prevention/716/safer_communities/2
