| Our leader of Ealing council Peter Mason fails to acknowledge Islamophobia as a problem in a recent statement in wake of national public disorder. Not a single word. failing to acknowleding it also is a problem. I've been invited to emergency meetings and noticed the same that politicians and police officers are unable to say the word. I did make mention that no one has stated Islamophobia a single time, which is a problem. Responding to other Islamophobia crimes and helping others see it through but myself been a repeated target of it too, not only by far right but even this week when people decided to act of Islamophobic tropes. Changes can only really happen if leaders accept there is a problem and state it as so! |
