Gowing and Pursey is clearly outgrowing its plot. In addition to their drivers being unable to leave their trucks onsite while they grab some lunch (and so have to park illegally and badly around Friary Road, The Drive and in the estate), I've just seen and photographed a G&P truck 'doing its business' on Friary Road. Bear in mind these trucks have to 3 point turn to get in and out, which means holding traffic on Friary Road or, more dangerously and more often, turning around in The Drive or Joseph Avenue. This afternoon, this happened to be when school kids are coming home. In fact my video shows two small kids having to wait as the truck 3-point turns in The Drive. If you think this is an okay way for a local business to behave in its residential neighbourhood, then you're an idiot. |
