| "Thoughts?" It might be thought that there could be serious health and safety issues arising from this. If a person were to get into difficulties while in the pool, presumably the first thing they would do to try and draw attention to themselves would be to cry or shout out, or otherwise make a noise. Now while it would be unrealistic to expect everyone using the pool to do so in total silence, to create totally unnecessary noise which might well prevent swimmers in difficulties from being heard, would seem to be in clear breach of the operators duty of care towards all users of the pool; certainly insofar as their safety is concerned. michael adams ... |
