I think that they were saying that they could not have it presented and discussed at the general council meeting because a planning application is in progress. I suspect that if they had objectors presenting then they would also have to give time to the developer - and decided that the appropriate place for that is the planning committee when the time comes to assess the application (assuming it goes to the committee ... which I expect it would in this case). |
