Jacqueline, when you say the Council have refused to accept the petition what exactly do you mean? Have they just refused to consider it at all or are they saying it is a planning matter and therefore outside their scope. From experience with planning the problem often is that it is not about how unpopular a plan might be but what the law says and a single proposer can outweigh thousands of objectors if they are within the planning regulations. |
