| Ah see, Sara, one could plead ignorance if one hasn't actually read it!! One can't claim that on its return. That's what happened to me in Waterstone's......I saw 50 Shades and its sequels on the best-seller shelves and truly hadn't got a clue what it was about but liked the cover, thought "I need a book", grabbed the 3 books and paid for them without batting an eyelid. Only when I got home and hubby looked aghast, saying "you didn't actually bye those in a shop, did you?" did I realise the book wasn't about a collector manic with a passion for sunglasses. |
