| I received today, through my letterbox, a notice from Ealing Council asking for comments on the use of Acton park 'for funfairs, circuses and other community events for 2010'. The notice also says: "we are also reviewing how we manage these events and reinstate any damage that they can cause to our parks and open spaces. The consultation runds until 7 February 2010 and we would like to hear your thoughts. If you think there are too many events, enjoy Ealing's events or are interested in our maintenance plans: Please contact us via email at parks@ealing.gov.uk or telep[hone 020 8825 9699 for a copy of the draft proposals." In view of the noise and disruption caused by certain events I will certainly comment - hope others will do the same |
