| Having been involved fairly actively with campaigning for a Piccadilly line at Turnham Green some years ago, I would caution against assuming strength of numbers is enough to bring about change. At the time the response to the consultation on the issue was the largest ever for a question on a single station. The issue is an engineering one and the first step to getting change is understanding the challenges that have led to this decision. Don't make the mistake that I and others did in assuming the apparently illogical nature of provision was just down to bureaucratic inertia. If you can pin down the exact reasons for the current situation, you should be able to build a much more convincing argument for how it could be improved without an unduly negative impact on services overall. |
