Can anywhere be worse than the top section of Oldham Terrace that goes south off Acton High Street opposite the Oaks? The litter is unbelievable. There are no residential properties here, only the Mosque and the side entrance to the Catholic Church. Perhaps the council feels that this makes it less of a priority. But I wish that there was some way of changing attitudes so that people get a sense of it being wrong and antisocial to drop litter and so find a bin or take it home. Meanwhile hats off to the LAGER volunteers who do a wonderful job. |
