| Thanks Ian, your comments are very helpful in assisting all of us to understand what we are dealing with here. Personally, I can't help feeling that if the "Authorities" really wanted to, this pollution situation would have been corrected ................ a looooooooooong time ago. Certainly, there seems to me to be adequate controls and monitoring in place, however we have that ever present PC bugbear, lack of robust Enforcement. For some reason, as with nearly all things in these times; The "Perpetrator/s" is accommodated endlessly whilst the "Victim/s" are paid scant regard and fobbed off with words. |
