| You were very brave, Libby; I challenged a man who had thrown an empty sandwich packet out of his car window onto the pavement in front of me and received such angry verbal abuse (with his mouth full of half-masticated sandwich!) that I'm sure only the fact that the lights changed and the car had to move off prevented him from jumping out to thump me! I'm afraid I shall think twice before doing it again... |
