Apologies for not linking the article. The section of the Kings Cross website that particularly interested me was the 'broken stuff on the street' section. Posts in that section may start of as 'whinges' but once photos are posted and the council is contacted the website tracks the council's actions and the site's contributors are quick to praise it if issues are resolved quickly. There is plenty of existing space on this site where good news stories could be (and sometimes are) posted - the front page being one example, but constructive criticism is necessary to make anything better, including our local community. I think the image-board idea would be positive way to do this. |
