| The way you have described the situation is like the Bollo Lane development is inaccessible by road. It isn't. There are many large housing developments in London that don't have through roads passing beside them. TfL know that a level crossing is targeted for closure because the planning documentation refers to providing funding for a foot/cycle bridge. Traffic required for access is invariably orders of magnitude smaller than through traffic In most traffic surveys, 80% or more traffic is just driving through while the remainder is local access. Your proposed "pitch" to Chiswick Business Park has absolutely no benefit to Chiswick Business Park. Would you expect them to do it purely out of pity for those poor, desperate, disadvantaged drivers facing some inconvenience for their car journeys? It would be kinda funny if CBP said yes, but only if drivers paid a toll. |
