| I'm pretty sure I have read this, or a very similar book by a Police Officer. What stands out is that Plod knows exactly how to vastly reduce knife and other crime virtually overnight, but meddling Politicians who don't know anything about anything keep telling Plod how to do their job. Plod KNOWS how to do their job, and very effectively too, but Political Correctness cripples them, so we suffer accordingly. And don't get me started on what it's doing to our Armed Forces. :-) |
