| Unfortunately a lot of people don't seem to be able to manage their waste very effectively despite all the collections. When it comes to a holiday or the end of a tenancy this becomes more obvious. You also have rogue landlords and managing agents and builders at this time of year as well as the tenants with too much stuff. It is s shame because a lot of stuff which might have been reuseable gets left out in the rain and then isn't. One of the good things about the recycling rewards scheme is that there is more information on there including where your nearest recycling banks are. We always used to put each others' bins out when we went on holiday. Sadly neighbours don't seem to talk to each other so much nowadays. Dumping waste is so anti-social. |
