The Park has never looked better - the gardening team have done a phenomenal job in improving the general look and environment of the park, the sporting facilities are first rate, the Museum is a wonderful resource with genuinely interesting exhibits, the coffee vendors serve delicious coffee and I can't wait for the coffee shop/restaurant to reopen. The park is run by a charity and has to make up funding shortfalls so of course it has to raise money. The people who don't like the improvements don't appear to have any constructive alternatives to sustain the park financially and by the way it is a borough resource not a private fiefdom. |
