Sorry your cat is missing. As Nina says, you have to cover all the bases. Posters in your neighbourhood with a colour picture are essential as when lost, cats commonly do not go very far. I would recommend to also knock on doors in the streets around your home, as he might have been taken in and lots of people do not put up found posters. Also, people may not venture into their sheds to check whilst it is cold so the personal request is better. fingers crossed he makes his way home soon.
